HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-047~~~~~ ~~ w~~i~ ~~ Y ~47~~~ C~UfJTY G1F BUTTE; STgTE 4F CALIFORNIA Res©lution No. o8-a47 ~'QUN ~yi hn u~* RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENFOKCEMENT ASSISTANCE GRANT APPLICATION CALIFORNIA INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT BOARD ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM (EA-19} WHEREAS, funds totaling 1.~ million dollars have been estahlished pursua~~t to Puhlic Resources Cede Section 43230, and are available from the Integrated Waste Management r'lccount for grants to Local I?nforcement Agencies to support solid waste facilities permit and inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, he it resolved that the Board of Supervisors of Butte County authorises the submittal of an application to the California Integrated Waste h~lanagemeni Board for a Local F~.nfrn-cement Agency Urant IA-19 FY 2008/2009. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Environmental Health ol~ the E3Litte County Public I~lealth Department, or his!her designee is hereby authorized and empowered to eYCCUtc in the name of F3titte County all necessary applications, contracts, agreements, payment requests and amendments for the purposes of securing grant funds and to implement. and carry out the purposes specified irl the grant application. 1~he foregoing resolution was passed by the Butte County F3oard of Supervisors this 22nd day of~ April, 2008.
