'k ~~- ~` GO~,1NTlf ©F BU'T'T`, STATE OF CALIFORNIA •.~ ""~•"'4 ~ ~~ ~esolufion No. 08 06~ ~*ir~u~*i RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR TO SIGN ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN STATE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH AND BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH FOR FY 07108 WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) requires Butte County Board of Supervisors' authorization to enter into an assignment agreement with the State Department of Mental Health (DMH) to participate in the state-administered Mental Health Services Act (MHSA} Housing Program funded from the Community Services and Support Component of the MHSA and jointiy administered by the DMH in conjunction with the California Housing and Finance Agency (CaIHFA); and WHEREAS, upon approval of the Assignment Agreement, funds in the amount of $2,173,000 specified for the MHSA Housing Program will be transferred by DMH on behalf of Butte County to the California Housing and Finance Agency (CaIHFA); and WHEREAS, MHSA Housing Program funding will be used for permanent supportive housing projects and housing assistance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors authorizes BCDBH to enter into an assignment agreement with the State DMH.
