RESOLUTION REQUESTING APPROVAL T(? APPLY FOR JUVEN[LE AC('OUN'i'ABILI'TY
BLOCK GRANT FUNllS
WHEREAS, the Butte County Probation Department desires to receive and utilise federal grant funds
available through the .luvenile 1lccountability Block Grants (JABG) Program administered by the
Corrections Standards 1luthority (hereafter referred to as CSA).
NOW, THEREFORIi: BE IT RESOLVED that the Chief Probation Officer is authorised, on behalf ol~
the Butte County Board o1'Supervisors, to submit the 1ABG application and si~~n the Grant Agreement
with the CSA, including any amendments thereof.
BE 1"1' FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of Butte agrees to provide all matching funds required
for said project, and abide by the statutes and regulations governing the JnBG Program as well as the
terms and conditions of the Brant Agreement as set forth by the CSr~.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant i'unds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant
expenditures controlled by this bod}'.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this ~,p~h_~ day of

AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Kirk,
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Dolan
NOT VOTING: None
