HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-077RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION AND ACCEPTANCE OF 2881 2"d STREET, OROVIL~E, CALIFORNIA FROM THE CALIFORNIA NEWSPAPERS PARTNERSHIP TO THE COUNTY OF BUTTE WHEREAS, on November 27, 2007, the Board of Supervisors approved and authorized the Property Manager to negotiate the acquisition of 2081 2nd Street, Oroville, Califamia; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte: 1. The purchase price of $1,500,000 is approved, and the Auditor-Controller is directed to utilize the appropriation in Project #170043, Fund 0041, to purchase the 2"d Street property. 2. The Property Manager is authorized to. prepare and execute all necessary documents and the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to execute the Certificate of Acceptance to effect the acquisition and to accept the transfer of title of APN 031-161-Ofi5 and APN 031-161-066, commonly known as 2081 2nd Street, Oroville, California, to the County of Butte.
