2881 2"d STREET, OROVIL~E, CALIFORNIA FROM THE CALIFORNIA
NEWSPAPERS PARTNERSHIP TO THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
WHEREAS, on November 27, 2007, the Board of Supervisors approved
and authorized the Property Manager to negotiate the acquisition of 2081 2nd
Street, Oroville, Califamia;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte:
1. The purchase price of $1,500,000 is approved, and the Auditor-Controller
is directed to utilize the appropriation in Project #170043, Fund 0041, to
purchase the 2"d Street property.
2. The Property Manager is authorized to. prepare and execute all necessary
documents and the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to execute
the Certificate of Acceptance to effect the acquisition and to accept the
transfer of title of APN 031-161-Ofi5 and APN 031-161-066, commonly
known as 2081 2nd Street, Oroville, California, to the County of Butte.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 10th
day of June 2008, by the following vote:
AYES: Connelly, Kirk, and Yamaguhci
NOES: Dolan and Josiassen
ABSENT: N/A
NOT VOTING: N/A

CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE AND CONSENT
This is to certify that the interest in the real property conveyed by the within deed
or grant dated June 30, 2008, from California Newspapers Partnership, a
Delaware general partnership, to the County of Butte, a political subdivision of
the State of California, is hereby accepted by the undersigned on behalf of the
County of Butte, pursuant to that authority granted by Resolution No. 08-077
adapted an June 10, 2008 and the grantee consents to recordation thereof by its
duly authorized officer.
