F,XEG'LITION OF A
GRAN"C AGRF,F,MFNT AND ANY A~IF.NDEI~9F,NTS THF,RETO
FROM T'HE PLANNIN(ITF,('HNI('AL ASSISTANt'E AI.LOC'ATION
OF THE STA'I'F: G'Ol1'i><II`NI'TY DIF;VE;LOPIti1F.NT I?<I,OC'k GRAN']' PROGRAM
WHF,RF.AS, the (`ommunity Development Block Grant (C'DBG) Pro~~ram provides
funding opportunities for small cities and counties for planning and feasibility studies
related to CDBG eligible activities such as housing, public works, and economic
development;
V1'HEREAS, the County of Butte is eligible to apply for up to $70,000 Ior CDBG Project
Specific }Manning and technical assistance activities.
\OW, "I'HF,REFORE, I3 F: I"[ RESOLVED by the County of Butte as follows:
SIC"PION I.
1~he Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves application for a C'I)BG
Planning and "fechnical Assistance Grant in the amount of X70,000 for a Palermo
Wastewater and Drainage Study.
SEC"LION 2.
If the grant application is approved, Butte County will be required to provide a X700 cash
match. These funds tivill be paid from Butte C'ounty's C'DBG Program Income.
SIC"I-ION 3.
The Board of Supervisors has determined that Federal Citizen Participation requirements
were met during the development of this application.
SEC' PION 4.
I'hc Butte County Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and d~rccted to act on
the County's behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
SEC"PION 5.
If the application is approved, the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to enter into
and sign the grant agreement and any subsequent amendments with the State of (_'alitornia
for the purposes of this grant.
