RESOLUTION TO RESCIND RESOLUTION 83-166A TO CONTINUE
THE POWER OF STORM DRAIN MAINTENANCE FOR COUNTY
SERVICE AREA No. 26, THERMALITO SEWER AND DRAINAGE
WHEREAS, The Board of Supervisors established County Service Area No. 26,
Thermalito Sewer and Drainage according to Resolution No. 65-140; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors extended storm drain maintenance
services to County Service Area No. 26 according to the Resolution No. 81-
298; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors requested LAFCO to remove the power of
storm drain maintenance services from County Service Area 26 on October 18,
1983 according to Resolution 83-166A; and
WHEREAS, Butte County and LAFCo records show that County Service Area 26
currently has storm drain maintenance authority; and
WHEREAS, the Thermalito area has the need for storm drainage maintenance
that CSA 26 currently has the authority for; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
Resolution 83-166A is hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte on
October 21, 2008 by the following vote:
AYES; Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Kirk, Chair Josiassen and Yamaguchi
