HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-142•O~Ofc $ t1p „+~~~i • • ~ i ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~. : • ~©• ~~~ ^~: P :V!^ • ~ ~ ~ '~ ~1; ~ • ••'•.•.,~'•=••••••••••''• ~;:~'~ Resolution No. 08-142 ••~~ OU13'~ ~i RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF LEONARD E RIOTTO UPON RETIREMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS WHEREAS, Leonard Riotto, Road Maintenance Worker for the Department of Public Works, announced his retirement as of October 31, 2008; and WHEREAS, Leonard Riotto began his career with the County of Butte in 1990, as a Road Maintenance Worker I, in the Department of Public Works, advancing within the Department to become a Road Maintenance Worker, his present position; and WHEREAS, Leonard Riotto worked as a Road Maintenance Worker I, Road Maintenance Worker II, and Road Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department for many years; and WHEREAS, Leonard Riotto has earned the respect of fellow employees, engineers, surveyors, contractors, and others involved in Public Works activities in Butte County, and has diligently served the residents of the County of Butte for eighteen (18) years with distinction and leadership; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, wish to express to Leonard Riotto sincere appreciation for his many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of Butte, and further wish him well on his retirement. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this 21s` day of October, 2008, by the following vote: AYES:Supervisors Connelly.
