RESOI,tJTIC}N IN RECOGNITION OF KEITH J. KRAMPITZ.
UPON RETIREMENT FROM TFIE
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
BUREAU OF NARCOTIC ENFORCEMENT
WIdEREAS, Keith a. Krampitz, Special Agent Supervisor for the California Department
of Justice Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement, current Commander for the Butte Interagency
Narcotics Task Farce (BTNTF) announced his retirement as of December 3 l , 2008; and
WHEREAS, Keith J. Krampitz started his law enforcement career in 1978 with the City
of Oroville Police Department as a Police Officer and was promoted to Detective. In 1995,
Detective Krampitz joined the California Department of Justice, Bureau ofNareotic
Enforcement. In December of 199$, the Department of Justice assigned Special Agent
Supervisor Krampitz to Butte County to accept the position of Commander of the Butte
Interagency Narcotics Task Force (BINTF}; and
WI IEREAS, Keith J, Krampitz has earned the respect of fellow employees, and others
involved in Law Enforcement activities in Butte County, and has diligently served the residents
of the County of Butte for twenty-seven years with extraordinary distinction and leadership.
NOW, TI-IEREFORE, BE I"I' RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own behalf and on
behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, wish to express to Keith J. Krampitz sincere
appreciation for his many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the
residents of the Count}f of Butte, and further wish him well on his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 16th day of December 2008, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Dolan, Kirk, Chair
