RESOLUTION ADOPTING A MAXIlVII1M LOAD POSTING FOR THE BRIDGE ON
LOWER WYANDOTTE ROAD CROSSING BRANCH WYMAN RAVINE, STATE
BRIDGE NO.12C-Q344
WHEREAS, Butte County "may determine the maximum weight of vehicle and load,
lower than the maximum weight otherwise permitted under the State of California 2008 Vehicle
Code, which a bridge or other structure under it's jurisdiction with safety to itself will sustain."
WHEREAS, an engineering investigation has been accomplished by the State of
California, Department of Transportation, and
WHEREAS, bridge number 12C-0344 has been appropriately noticed regarding the
proposed maximum load pasting and date and time of public hearing to be held, and
WHEREAS, The Board of Supervisors has conducted a public hearing regarding the
proposed maximum load posting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
that the existing posting of "18 tons per Truck, 29 tons per Semi-Trailer Combination, 36 tans
per Truck and Full Trailer" (March 16, 1984) and maximum load posting, for bridge number
12C-0344, Lower Wyandotte Road crossing Branch Wyman Ravine, is hereby approved and said
bridge shall be posted as follows:
18 TONS PER VEHICLE
28 TONS PER SEIVII-TRAILER COMBINATION
34 TONS PER TRUCK AND FULL TRAILER
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chair of the Butte County Board of
Supervisors is hereby authorized to execute the adoption of the maximum load posting for bridge
number 12C-0344 on behalf of the County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this
16`x' day of December 2Q08 by the following vote:
