RESOLUTION RE('OGN[ZINC
EMPLOYMENT & ELIGIBILITY STAFF WEEK
IN BUTTE COUNTY
WHEREAS, I~:mployment Services and Eligibility staff enhance the economic well-being oi~ the
comnnmity through the two One-Stop ('enters by providing an array of services to assist job seekers and ernploycrs
with their employment needs; and
WHI+;REAS, Employment Services and Eligibility sta(~f assist individuals, children and families who are in
temporary need of food, housing and medical care achieve and maintain self-sufficiency, and
WHEREAS, l;n~pkoyment Services & Eligibility staff in Butte County promote a superior level o~~service
to the citizens of butte County and to fellow workers by providing excellent customer service and preserving the
dimity of children, Enmities and adults; and
WHF,RF.AS, Employment Services & l~;ligibility staff are faced with a constantly changing, complex array
of federal, state and county programs, yet have maintained superior professional results and delivered outstanding
services: and
WHERF,AS, 1?mploymcnt Services & Eligibility staff arc continually working to improve their knou~ledgc
and expertise; and
WHF,RE+:AS, Employment Services & Eligibility staff are assisted in the performance of their duties by a
variety ofhighly-skilled adminisU-ative support and supervisory staff`, and
WHEREAS, it is important that all citizens of Butte County recognize the important services which
Employment Case Managers c~c Eligibility staff provide to citizens throughout our county, state and nation.
