RESOLUTION INAPPRECIATION
WHEREAS, this Board expresses its appreciation to David M. Scott for his 14 years of
dedicated service to Butte County Juvenile Hall, operated by the Butte County Probation
Department, and
WHEREAS, David M. Scott's full-time juvenile correctional officer career began on October 7,
1994, after having served six months as an extra help employee, and
WHEREAS, as a Juvenile Hail Counselor these many years, "Shaggy" was well-known for his
love of the work with the detained children as well as for his clever photographic editing skills,
and
WHEREAS, it is noted that David M. Scott was named "Juvenile Hall Counselor of the Year" in
2DD5, and
WHEREAS, after serving the citizens of Butte County for 14 years, David M. Scott retired on
December 29, 2DD8;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors on its own behalf, and
on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, that said Board expresses their deep
appreciation for the unselfish dedication and devotion given by Juvenile Hall Counselor David
M. Scott during his career with the Butte County Probation Department.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this loth day of
