A FREEWAY AGREEMENT COVERING A PORTION OF STATE HIGHWAY
ROUTE 70 FROM PALERMO ROAD TO OROVILLE CITY LIMIT AT
0.3 MILE SOUTH OF GRAND AVENUE
WHEREAS, the County of Butte and the State of California have previously executed
Freeway Agreements along State Highway Route 70 from Palermo Road to the Orovilie
City limit; and
WHEREAS, said agreements dated 7uly 2S, 1955 and September 18, 1961 complied
with the provisions of Section 100.22 of the Street and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, the agreement offered recognizes the changes in jurisdictions that have
taken place between the City of Oroville and the County of Butte aver the years since
signing the previous agreements;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors, of the County
of Butte, State of California, that said County of Butte authorizes the Chair of the Board
to sign the Freeway Agreement identified as 03-BUT-70-PM115.2, in the County of
Butte, from Palermo Road to Oroville City limit at 0.3 miles south of Grand Avenue.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 10`h day of February, 2009, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors; Connelly, Dolan, Kirk, LAmbert and Yamaguchi
NOES: None
ABSENT: ~ None
NOT-VOTING: None
