FOR COUNTY OF BUTTE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010
AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 7910, DIVISION 9
OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE
WHEREAS, Article XIlI-B of the California Constitution provides that local
governments must establish annual appropriation limits pursuant to said Article, and;
WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Government Code, provides that
the governing body of each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations
lirnit for the fallowing year at a regularly scheduled meeting, and;
WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller has calculated the Butte County
appropriations limit for fiscal year 2009-2010 to be $148,811,897.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriations limit far
Butte County is established to be $148,811,897 for fiscal year 2409-2010, and;
FURTHER, that said appropriations limit, and the determination thereof are in
compliance with Article XIII-B of the California Constitution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State
of Califorzua, this 11th day of August, 2009.
