EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO
FROM THE PLANNINGITECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ALLOCATION
OF THE STATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Community Development Bloclc Grant (CDBG) Program provides funding
opportunities for small cities and counties for planning and feasibility studies related to CDBG
eligible activities such as housing, public works, and economic development;
WHEREAS, the County of Butte is eligible to apply for up to $70,000 in funds from the CDBG
General Allocation to complete planning and technical analysis for a specific physical project.
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED by the County of Butte Board of Supervisors as
follows:
SECTION 1
The Butte County Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves an application under the
General Allocation for up to $70,000 for the completion of Phase I Development of the Master Plan for
Urban Street Improvements in the Unincorporated Area of South Oroville.
SECTION 2
The Butte County Board of Supervisors has determined that federal Citizen Participation requirements
were met during the development of this application.
SECTION 3
If the application is approved, for Cash Match the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby approves
the use of CDBG Program Income Funds in the amount of $700.00.
SECTION 4
The Butte County Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and directed to act on the
County's behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
SECTION 5
If the application is approved, the Butte County Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to enter into
and sign the grant agreement and any subsequent amendments with the State of California for the
purposes of this grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 11`~ day of August
2009 by the following vote:
