Department of Public Works, Fleet Services Division, announced his retirement as of
September 18, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Henry Kaminski began his career with the County of Butte in 1991, as a Heavy
Equipment Mechanic, in the Department of Public Works, advancing within the department to become
Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Lead, his present position; anal
WHEREAS, Henry Kaminski worked in the Fleet Services Division of Public Works for nearly
twenty years, the last seven of which were in responsible charge of maintaining the County's vehicles;
and
WHEREAS, Henry Kaminski has overcame language barriers, and was a pillar at EOC during
emergencies; and
WHEREAS, Henry Kaminski has earned the respect of fellow employees, co-workers, and
citizens involved with the maintenance of County vehicles, and has diligently served the County of Butte
for eighteen (18) years;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors on its own behalf, and
on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, that said Board wishes to express to Henry Kaminski
sincere appreciation for his many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the
employees of Butte County, and further wish him well on his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 15"' day of September 2009, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Kirk, Lambert, Yamaguchi, and Chair Connelly
