BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH INTERIM DIRECTOR
AS BUTTE COUNTY DELEGATE TO CALIFORNIA COUNTIES MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, Butte County, through its Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH), wishes
to join the California Counties Mental Health Services Authority (CCMHSA); and
WHEREAS, CCMHSA requires a resolution acknowledging Butte County's intent to
become a member and a resolution appointing a director with the power to designate an alternate
to act in his or her absence;
NOW, THlEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
authorizes Edward Walker, LCSW, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health ]nterim
Director, to act as Butte County's delegate on the California Counties Mental Health Services
authority with full power to designate an alternate in his absence.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 27t" day of
October 2009, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors
