HomeMy WebLinkAbout09-166RESOLUTION ADOPTING A NEW FEE FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT FOR A DETERMINATION OF EXEMPTION FOR GRADING PERMIT TO BE ADDED TO THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors established the Butte County Master Fee Schedule by Resolutian No. 09-044 on March 24, 2009; and WHEREAS, the County of Butte is authorized to adopt and in~zplement fees for services, provided, however, that such fees do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing such services; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has adapted Chapter 13, Crrading and Mining, of the Butte County Code, which requires a Deterzxzination of Exemption for specif c grading activities; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has determined a fee for processing a Determination of Exeznptian application is appropriate to recoup the cost of staff time to review applications for Deterzxzinatian of Exemption; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors desires to add a fee for the processing of applications for a Determination of Exen~ptian for grading permits to the ButteCounty Master p'ee Schedule. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte adopts the new fee for a Determination of Exemption foz• grading permit as reflected in Exhibit A, which shows the fee being added under Public Worlcs Department fees, Section B, Checking lees, Nz.izrzber 14, and directs its inclusion in the Butte County Master Fee Schedule. BE I'I' FURTHER RESOLVED that the adopted fee will be effective sixty (60) days after its adoption as provided in Exhibit A.
