UPON RET)CREMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT~OF THE AUDITOR-
CONTROLLER, COUNTY OF BUTTE
WHEREAS, Kenneth "Ken" G. Wiley, Internal Auditor for the Auditor-Controller's
Department, announced his retirement as of December 30, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth Wiley began his cazeer with the County of Butte in 1981 as an
Appraiser/Accountant in the Assessor's Office and after six months transferred to the Auditor-
Controller's Office; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth Wiley worked in the Auditor-Controller's Office for over twenty-
eight years, serving first as the Road and Transit Accountant in the General Accounting Section,
and for the last twenty-two years as lnternal Auditor in the Audit Section; and
WHEREAS, Kenneth Wiley has earned the respect of fellow employees, co-workers,
Special Districts' staff and the citizens involved with those districts, and has diligently served the
County of Butte for over twenty-eight years;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors on its own
behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, that said Board wishes to express to
Kenneth G. Wiley sincere appreciation for his many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding
service rendered to the employees and residents of Butte County, and further wish him well on
his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 8`h day of December 2009, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Kirk, Lambert, Yamaguchi, and Chair Connelly
NOES: 1~Fone
