RESOLUTION APPOINTING
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH INTERIM DIRECTOR
AS BUTTE COUNTY DELEGATE TO CALIFORNIA MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, Butte County, through its Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH), wishes
to join the California Mental Health Services Authority (CMHSA); and
WHEREAS, CMHSA requires a resolution acknowledging Butte County's intent to
become a member and a resolution appoinking a director with the power to designate an alternate
to act in his or her absence;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
authorizes Edward Walker, LCSW, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health Interim
Director, to act as Butte County's delegate on the California Mental Health Services authority with
full power to designate an alternate in his absence.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Sup°rvisors this 8th day of
December, 20D9, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolany Kirk, Lambert, Yamaguchi, and. Chair Connelly
NOES: Non
