AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE FROM THE CEC ENERGY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the California Energy Commission's Energy Partnership Program provides technical assistance in
identifying energy efficiency improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors recognizes that the~California Energy Commission has
limited funds for technical assistance and that primary consideration will be given to those that are committed to
implementing the recommended projects identif ed through the Energy Partnership Program;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. The Butte County Board of Supervisors authorizes the application for technical assistance from the
California Energy Commission; and
2. The Butte County Board of Supervisors will seek funding, if necessary, to implement the recommended
feasible energy efficiency projects as identified through the Energy Partnership Program; and
3. The Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and empowered to execute in the name ofthe County
of Butte all necessary documents to implement and carFy aut the purposes of this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 8~' day of December, 2009 by the
following vote:
