Home My WebLink About10-008.Resolution RESOLUT)CON RECOGNIZING ESTHER CORONA UPON HER RETIREMENT FROM BUTTE COUNTY WHEREAS, Esther Corona announced her retirement as of December 29, 2049; and WHEREAS, Esther Corona began her career with Butte County on July 27, 1977, as a Community Health Aide with the Public Health Department; and WHEREAS, during Esther Corona's time as a Community Health Aide she provided outreach and translation services for the Women, Infants and Children Program, the Child Health and Disability Prevention Program and Family Planning Clinics at various locations, including the Gridley Migrant Labor Camp; and WHEREAS, during Esther Corona's many years of service she was promoted on many occasions and held the job titles of Typist 1111, Clerk Uli, Account Clerk, Senior Account Clerk, Accounting Specialist and Administrative Assistant; and WHEREAS, Esther Carona has been a hard working, conscientious employee for over thirty-two years helping to keep Public Health organized and efficient. Esther has worked with the past six Directors of Public Health. Her experience, knowledge and ability to communicate has allowed her to excel in her duties and responsibilities over the years; and WHEREAS, Esther Corona has always been helpful and professional and has earned friendship and respect throughout the Public Health Department and other County departments; and WHEREAS, Esther Corona has exhibited flexibility, patience and good humor in handling unusual circumstances, as well as high level of dedication to Public Health and to the County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors wishes to express to Esther Corona sincere appreciation for her many years of dedication and outstanding service to Butte County, and further wishes her well on her retirement.
