RECOGNIZING DISCUSSION OF USDA GRANT REQUIREMENTS
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE USDA GRANT AGREEMENT _ BANGOR
WHEREAS, the Butte County Sheriff's Office has obtained a grant from the United
Stafes Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rural Development for the purchase of a pickup
truck for use by the Designated Area Deputy in Bangor, California; and
WHEREAS, in order to receive the grant fiznds, the County must execute a Community
Facilities Grant Agreement and provide the USDA a resolution of the Board of Supervisors
recognizing discussion of the grant requirements and authorizing execution ofthe Grant
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, on January 12, 2010, appearing on the Board of Supervisors Agenda was an
item discussing the grant requirements and requesting that the Board of Supervisors approve the
Agreement and authorize the Chair to sign..
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors, approves
execution of the Community Facilities Grant Agreement and authorizes the Chair to sign.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 12th day of
January 2010 by the following vote:
