RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
RECOGNIZING DISCUSSION OF USDA GRANT REQUIREMENTS
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE USDA GRANT AGREEMENT - CONCOW
WHEREAS, the Butte County Sheriff s Office has obtained a grant from the United
States Department of Agriculture (USDA} -Rural Development for the purchase of a pickup
truck for use by the Designated Area Deputy in Concow, California; and
WHEREAS, in order to receive the grant funds, the USDA requires that the County
execute a Community Facilities Grant Agreement and provide the USDA a resolution of the
Board of Supervisors recognizing public discussion of the grant requirements and authorizing
execution of the Grant Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the required public notification for the USDA grant was made on January
12, 2010 in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, that the public notification requirement for the USDA grant has
been met; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors, approves execution of
the Community Facilities Grant Agreement and authorizes the Chair to sign.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 12th day of
January 2010 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Kirk, Lambert, Yamaguchi, and Chair Connelly
