RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING A CONTRIBUTION FROM THE BETA
CHAPTER OF OMEGA NU FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Government Cade 25355, the Board of Supervisors is
authorized to accept any gift made to the County, and
WHEREAS, the Beta Chapter of Omega Nu Foundation is a charitable organization based in
Chico; and
WHEREAS, the Beta Chapter of Omega Nu Foundation has a long history of donating gifts to
minors, particularly female minors, incarcerated in Juvenile Hall; and
WHEREAS, such unsolicited thoughtfulness brings joy to others; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte wishes to acknowledge and thank the Beta Chapter of Omega
Nu Foundation for their generous donation to children;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of Supervisors accepts
with thanks the $200 donation to the Butte County Juvenile Hall.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this ~6 day of
2010 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Kirk, Lambert, Xamaguchi, and Chair Connelly
