RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF FEDERAL APPORTIONMENT
EXCHANGE PROGRAM AND STATE MATCH PROGRAM BETWEEN THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, the Federal Apportionment Exchange Program and State Match Program
annually funds for a like amount of nonfederal State Highway Account funds and the
disbursement of State matching Funds, which provides annual funding for Road Fund purposes.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Boazd of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, as follows:
1. That said County approves of the Federal Apportionment Exchange Program and State
Match Program California Department of Transportation.-Non MPO County
Agreement, "the Agreement".
2. That the Director of Public Works be authorized to execute the Agreement annually
on behalf of Butte County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 11 ~' day of May 2010 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan. Kirk, Lamberts Yamaguchi and Chair Connelly
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: Alone

ITEM SUBJECT: 200912010.Federal Apportionment Exchange Program and State Match
Program
ITEM DESCRIPTION: Approval was requested for the Fiscal Year 2009/2010 Federal
Apportionment Exchange Program and State Match Program Agreement
with the California Department of Transportation. The agreement will
allow the Department of Transportation to exchange Regional Surface
Transportation Program funds for non-federal funds. In addition fo the
exchange of funds, State matching funds are allocated from the State
Highway Account to the Public Works Department.
BOARD ACTION TAKEN: APPROVED AGREEMENT; AND ADOPTED RELATED
RESOLUTION NO. 10-074 AND AUTHORIZED THE CHAIR TO
SIGN .
