RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING A DONATION FROIVI JACKIE BRIDGES,
OWNER OF CURVES IN CHICO
WHEREAS, in accordance with Government Code 25355, the Board of Supervisors is
authorized to accept any gift made to the County; and
WHEREAS, Jackie Bridges is the owner of Curves on Mangrove Avenue in Chico; and
WHEREAS, Jackie Bridges would like to donate various pieces of exercise equipment, valued
at approximately $6,000.00; and
WHEREAS, such unsolicited thoughtfulness brings joy to others; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte wishes to acknowledge and thank Jackie Bridges for her
generous donation to children;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of Supervisors accepts
with thanks the donation of exercise equipment to the Butte County Juvenile Hall.
