HomeMy WebLinkAbout10-168WHEREAS, Butte County General Plan 2030 was approved by the Board of Supervisors
on October 26, 2010, after an extensive review process; and,
"WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee contributed to the approval of Butte
County General Plan 2030 by completing a work program developing a comprehensive, long-
term general plan for Butte County and establishing an overall framework and set of land use
planning goals and policies for the unincorporated area of the County for the next 20 years; and,
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee met twenty-three times during athree-
year period from November 16, 2006 through November 5, 2009, and facilitated the inclusion of
extensive public input and the review of various products and reports during this time; and,
WHEREAS, members of the Citizens Advisory Committee freely and selflessly
contributed their knowledge, experience and understanding of Butte County to the General Plan
2030 update process.
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors hereby commends and expresses its sincere appreciation to (CAC Member) for
service on the Butte County General PIan 2030 Citizens Advisory Committee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution is included in the minutes of the
Butte County Board of Supervisors and that a copy of said Resolution will be delivered to {CAC
Member), as a testimonial of the sentiments of the Board of Supervisors.
DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23`d day of November 2010, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Kirk, Lambert, Yamaguchi, and Chair Connelly
