AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COUNTY ORDINANCE 996, CONSOLIDATING
"C-2" (GENERAL COMMERCIAL)
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said County,
being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance as amended by Ordinance Numbers
1522 and 676 DO ORDAIN as follows:
Ordinance 996, (consolidating "C-2" General Commercial)
Section 1 is hereby amended to include the following:
Being located near Chico, California, more particularly
(described as follows:
A part of the east half of the northeast quarter of
Section 8, and apart of the west half of the northwest
quarter of Section 9, both in T22N RIE, MDB&M, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the westerly right of way
line of "STATE SIGN ROUTE 99" (Freeway), said point
being-100 feet westerly at right angles from engineers
station 232+30.93; thence southerly along said westerly
right of way, to the centerline of Hicks bane, said
point being. the P.0. B; thence 56.6°00'W along said
centerline of Hicks Lane to the most northerly corner
of the Shasta Union School District property as describ-
ed in 178 OR 360, records of Butte County, California,
thence S 31° 30'E a distance of 1061.28 feet; thence
N 62°05':E, a distance. of 745 feet more or less to the
westerly right of ~.ay,::. of said "State Route 99"; thence
north westerly along. said westerly right of way line
to the point of beginning, excepting therefrom all that
portion within a7.1 county roads; also excepting there-
from;
seginning at the most northerly corner ofthe Shasta
Union School District property as described in 178 OR
360, records of Butte County, California, which point
lies in the centerline of Hicks Lane; thence from said
pointd of beginning, N 66°00' E, 247.2 feet; thence
5.31 30'E, 549.85 feet; thence S 66 00' W,247.12 feet;
thence N 31°30' W, 549.85 feet to the point of beginning.
That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days of
ter the date of its aoption, and before the expiratiaz of fifteen
(15) days after its passage, it shall be published with the names
of the members voting for and against the same, in the Chico
Enterprise-Record, a newspaper published in the County of Butte,
State of California.
