HomeMy WebLinkAbout1080ORDINANCE N0. 1080 AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALTFORNTA, AN "RT-1" (MINIP+EUM-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL- TRAILER) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 475, OF SAID COUNTY AS AMENDED 1 2 3 The Board of Supervisors of the County of I3utte, State of Califarnia, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said 5 Caunty, being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance; as amended, DOES 6 ORDAIN as follows: 7 SECTION 1. 8 The hereinbelow described area, situated in the County g of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned 10 an "RT-1" (Minimum-Density Residential-Trailer) District, and Zl such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted 12 uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided, said 13 area being located in the unincorporated area of Butte County 14 near Oroville, California, and particularly described as follows: 15 -Being all of "Hoover's Sub" per map recorded in Map Book 16 on page 2(}; 16 All of Lots 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8 of Block 15, of 17 "Villa Verona" per map recorded as Mall ~9ap No. 12; 18 L Rif of Lots 11 through and including Lot 34 of 1g "Stormes Sub Flo. Z'; per map recorded in flap Book 18 on pages 24 and 25; 20 All maps recorded in the Office of the Recorder, 21 County of Butte, State of California. 22 SECTION 2. 23 The following regulations shall apply in an "RT-1" 24 (Minimum-Density Residential-Trailer) District: 2°5 2.1 USES PERMITTED: 26 a. Single-Family dwellings. 27 b. Mobile Domes to house one family, when such. 2$ Mobile Home is the only housing facility 29 located on the premises, provided the following 30 conditions are canforrned to: 31 1. A11 sanitary facilities shall conform to State Statutes and regulations and to local requirements of the Health Departments and 3. All electrical installations shall conform to State Statutes and regulations. c. Accessary buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. d. I-lousehoid pets, but not including livestock, opultry or poisonous reptiles. 2.2 LOT AREA REQUIRED: Minimum lot area of a lot per dcaelling unit or a Mobile E3ome unit shall be no less than eight thousand, one hundred and twenty-five (8,125) square feet excepting where public sewage disposal service is provided, a minimum of six thousand, five hundred (6,500) square feet may be allowed .for inside lots with a minimum of seven thousand, five hundred (7,500) square feet for corner lots, 2.3 LOT WIDTH REQUIRED: Minimum lot width shall not be less than sixty-five (65) feet. 2.4 FRONT YARD REQUIRED: Minimum front yard shall be fifty (50) feet from the centerline of the road, except where the road is classified by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road the minimum building setback requirement shall be fifty--five (55) feet from centerline said road. 2.5 SIDE XARD REQUIREMENT: Pdinimum side yard shall not be less than five (5) feet. 2.6 THE FOLLOT~FING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE .NIIT IN EACH CASE a. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools ana public utility buildings. ~ sECTION 3. 8 All uses of land within the District not specifically 7 authorized and permitted in Section 2, are prohibited. $ SECTION 4. 9 In compliance with the provisions of said Enabling 10 Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding to Section 5 11 thereof this Ordinance in full. 12 SECTION 5. 13 The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby 14 imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning 15 Enabling Ordinance.
