AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 1095 '
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE
"SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, do ordain as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 1095 of the County of Butte
is hereby amended as follows:
a, That Section 3(B), entitled, "CLASSES WITH
FLAT RATE ASSIGNMENTS", be amended by deleting therefrom:
CLASS TITLE AMOUNT
County Counsel $17,250 Yr, and any
increase or benefits
granted to the
District Attorney
and adding thereto:
CLASS TITLE AMOUNT
County Counsel $22,500 Yro
b, That Section 4, entitled, "ELECTIVE OFFICERS",
be amended by deleting therefrom:
CLASS TITLE AMOUNT
Auditor $12,000 Yr.
District Attorney & Public Administrator $17,250 Yr.
and adding thereto:
CLAS5 TITLE AMOUNT
Auditor $14,000 Yr.
District Attorney & Public Administrator $22,500 Yro
2. That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration
of fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published
with the names of the members voting for and against same,
once in a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State
of California, provided, however, that the salary stated
herein shall be effective on August 1, 1970,

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, State of California, on the 30th day
of June, 1970, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Howsden, McKillop, Reynolds
and Chairman Dunaway
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Maxon
