1 AN INTERIM ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 475,
2 KNOWN AS THE BUTTE COUNTY ZONING ENABLING ORDINANCE
3 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
¢ of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475, as amended,
5 and declaring and emergency DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION 1.
7 Section 3 of Ordinance No. 475 of the County of Butte is
hereby amended by adding thereto a new section, to be numbered
9 and designated Section 3.4.
'10 Section 3.4
11 (a) LOT AREA OR BUILDING SITE: Minimum required area
12 of lot or building site per residential structure
13
(single family, multiple family or mobile unit)
14 shall be no less than eight thousand one hundred
'15 twenty-five (8,125) square feet.
16 (b} LOT WIDTH: Minimum lot width shall not be less
17 than sixty-five (65) feet.
18 (c) FRONT YARD: Minimum front yard shall be fifty {50)
19 feet from the centerline of the road, except where
20 the road is classified by the County as a Federal
21 Aid Secondary Road the minimum building setback
22 requirement shall be fifty-five (55) feet from the
23 centerline of said road.
24 (d) SIDE YARDS: Minimum side yard shall not be less
25 than five (f) feet.

(e) REAR YARD: Minimum rear yard shall nat be less
27 than five (5) feet.

SECTION 2.
29 In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning En-
30
abling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding to Section
31 3 thereof this Ordinance in full.

SECTION 3.
This emergency ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) ,days
after its passage shall be published once with the names of all
members voting for and against the same in the Oroville
Mercury a newspaper in general circulation
in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, on the 7th day of
July _. 1970, by the following vote:

Dunaway

ABSENT: None
