WHEREAS, California Elections Code Section 10404.5 allows the County Board of
Education to request consolidation of their elections of governing board members with the
statewide General Election held in November of each even-numbered year; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Education has filed a request fox such consolidation
with the statewide General Election; and
WHEREAS, the consolidation will not cause the ballot style, voting equipment, or computer
capacity to be exceeded; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the request for consolidation of the Butte
County Board of Education governing board member elections with the statewide General
Election is approved beginning iza November 2012 and every two years thereafter, until
rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 12th day of April,
2411, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl., Kirk, Yamaguchi, and. Chair Lambert
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
