A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING AND
THE ERECTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ANY AMENDMENTS
THERETO FROM THE 2008 DISASTER RECOVERY INITIATIVE (DRI)
ALLOCATION OF THE STATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as follows:
SECTION 1:
The Butte County Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves an application for up to
$7,393,980 for the following activities:
Housing Rehabilitation, Reconstruction, Replacement: $4, 000, 000
Concow Road 1'mprovements: $3, 000, 000
Planning: $249, 000
General Program Administration: $144,980
Total Request: $7,393,980
SECTION 2:
The County previously received an award announcement from the State Community Development
Block Grant Program for $4,3000,000 from the DRI Program. The amount shown in Section 1 above
represents an additional grant request of $3,093,980.
SECTION 3:
The County has determined that federal Citizen Participation requirements were met during the
development of this application.
SECTION 4:
The Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and directed to sign this application and act on
the County's behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
SECTION 5:
If the application is approved, the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to enter into and sign the
grant agreement and any subsequent amendments with the State of California for the purposes of this
grant.
SECTION 6:
If the application is approved, Jennifer Macarthy, Program Development Manager, is authorized to
sign Funds Requests and other required reporting forms.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 26th day of April, 2011, by
the fallowing vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly; Wahl, Kirk, Yamaguchi, and Chair Lambext
