WHEREAS, Mary E. Randall, Program Manager of the Butte County Department of Child Support
Services, has announced her retirement effective May 29, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Mary E. Randall has worked her entire career serving the families and children of Butte
County through her work in the Child Support Enforcement Program;-and
WHEREAS,. Mary E. Randall started her career with the District Attorney-Family Support Division on
December 17, 1979 and assisted with the transition of the program to the Department of Child Support
Services in July of 2001; and
WHEREAS, Mary E. Randall has held li titles during her tenure with the Child Support Enforcement
Program including Typist Clerk I, Typist Clerk II, Family Support Specialist, Family Support Enforcement
Officer, Family Support Enforcement Officer II, Supervisor Clerical Support Services, Supervising Family
Support Case Manager, Supervisor Family Support Services, Administrative Analyst III, Program Manager
and Acting Assistant Director; and .
WHEREAS, Mary E. Randall has been a hard working, devoted and conscientious employee for 31 years;
and
WHEREAS, Mary E. Randall as a leader and mentor has successfully supervised and/or overseen the
work of countless Butte County employees, sharing life skills and assisting them to advance to higher
levels of classification or performance; and
WHEREAS, Mary E. Randall has diligently and ethically worked in the best interest of Butte County,
earning the respect of her fellow employees and peers throughout the state; and
NOW, THEREFORE, 8E iT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors wishes to express to Mary E. Randall
sincere appreciation for her many years of dedication and service to Butte County, and further, wishes
her well on her retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 14th day of June, 2011 by the
following vote:
