RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF PROBATION OFFICER TO SIGN, ON BEHALF
OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VICTIM
COMPENSATION AND GOVERNMENT CLAIMS BOARD AND THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
(AGREEMENT #: VCGC104S).
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has previously entered into an agreement with the
Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board (hereafter referred to as the "VCGCB") and desires
to continue the program to expeditiously pracess claims for the unreimbursed losses of victims of crime,
and
WHEREAS, the VCGCB has authorized and allocated $120,440.00 for the period of July 1, 2011
through June 30, 2012 to implement this project subject to the execution of a Standard Agreement and
acknowledgment of the terms and conditions contained therein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chief Probation Officer of the County of Butte is
authorized to submit the attached agreement to the VCGCB and is authorized to execute on behalf of the
Board of Supervisors the Standard Agreement including any extensions or amendments thereof
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 28th day of
