WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolutions 94-141 and 95-24
establishing and/or amending the structure and authorities of the Butte County Animal Control
Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, the Animal Control Advisory Committee has not met in approximately four
years; and
WHEREAS, Butte County has had difficulty filling the vacant membership seats of this
Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Animal Control Division of the Butte County Public Health Department
could convene an advisory group at any time in the future to address any issues related to animal
control; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Butte County Public Health Department recommends
this committee be dissolved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California that Animal Control Advisory Committee is dissolved
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 26th day
of July 2011, by the following vote:
ASS, Supervisors Donnelly, Wahl., Kirk, Yamaguchi and Chair Lambert
NOES: None
ABSENT: none
NOT VOTING: None
