WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors formed the County Service Area {CSA} 37
Advisory Committee an August 6, 1985 in order for the Committee to evaluate bid proposals
concerning ambulance services for the BiggslGridley area and to provide a recommendation to
the Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, the CSA 37 Advisory Committee has not met in approximately eight years,
and Butte County has had difficulty filling the vacant membership seats of this Committee; and
WHEREAS, the CSA 37 ambulance bidding process will be included in the countywide
ambulance bid process scheduled this year; and
WHEREAS, the local Emergency Medical Services (EMS} Agency can convene a
meeting at any time to address any issues related to CSA 37; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Butte County Public Health Department recommends
this committee be dissolved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Baard of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California that the Caunty Service Area (CSA) 37 Advisory Committee is
dissolved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 26th day
of July 2011, by the following vote:
AYES. Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Xamaguchi and Chair Lambert

ABSENT: None
