RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT NOT TO CONTRACT WITH
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA TREATMENT SERVICES
FOR DRUG MEDI-CAL SERVICES

WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) believes it
is not in the interests of the County of Butte to enter into a contractual relationship with
Narthem California Treatment Services to provide Drug Medi-Cal services because of
the administrative cost County of Butte would incur and the significant flow of non-
BCDBH referred residents into this program; and
WHEREAS, it is required for BCDBH to obtain approval from the Butte County
Board of Supervisors #o deGine to enter into the contractual relationship described
above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors authorizes the Butte County Department of Behavioral Health to decline to
enter into a contractual relationship with Northern California Treatment Services to
- - .provide Drug-Medi-Cal -services. ~ _ - -
