RESOLUTION REQUESTING APPROVAL TO APPLY FOR EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICES
PROJECT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Butte County Probation Department desires to participate in the Evidence Based
Practices Project supported by federal Juvenile Accountability Block Grant funding and administered by
the Corrections Standards Authority (hereafter referred to as CSA},
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chief Probation Officer is authorized, on behalf of
the Butte County Baard of Supervisors, to submit the grant proposal for this funding and sign the Grant
Agreement with the CSA, including any amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that federal grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to
supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
FURTHER RESOLVED that the Butte County Probation Department agrees to provide all matching
funds required for said project, and abide by the statutes and regulations governing the federal Grants
Program as well as the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement as set forth by the CSA.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors in a meeting
