RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO NEGOTIATE AND
ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION
EASEMENTS FOR THE
ORD FERRY ROAD BRIDGE SEISMIC RETROFIT PROJECT AT THE SACRAMENTO RIVER,
STATE BRIDGE N0.12C-0120,
FEDERAL BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT STPLZ-5912(019)
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors have entered into a project agreement with Caltrans and the
Federal Highway Administration to participate in the Highway Bridge Program (HBP} for the seismic retrofit of the Ord
Ferry Road Bridge at the Sacramento River; and
WHEREAS, the project agreement requires that the County of Butte acquire all rights of way and easements
necessary to construct the project; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte must complete all right of way and easement acquisitions necessary to deliver
right of way certification to Caltrans.
NOW THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, in order to complete the delivery of the right of way certification to Caltrans, authorizes the Director of Public
Works to negotiate and sign the agreements for Temporary Construction Easements for the Ord Ferry Road Bridge
Seismic Retrofit Project at the Sacramento River, State Bridge No. 12C-0120, Highway Bridge Project STPLZ-
5912(019).
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this 13~' day
of September, 2011, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Yamaguchi and Chair Lambert
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
