RESOLUTION FOR EMPLOYER PAID MEMBER CONTRCBUTIONS {EPMC)
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County has the authority to pay and report all or
a portion of the normal .contributions required to be paid by a CaIPERS member pursuant to
Government Code Section 20691; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County has the authority to implement, reduce,
or eliminate the reporting under Government Code Section 20691; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County has a written labor policy or agreement or
has passed an impasse resolution which specifically provides for the norms[ member
contributions to be paid by the employer, or for the normal member contributions to be paid in
part by the employee and in part by the employer (contingent upon the MOU or impasse
resolution for the specific employee group}, as designated below; and
WHEREAS, in order to implement Government Code Section 20699 the Board of Supervisors
of Butte County must adopt a Resolution reflecting any payment of said EPMC for the employee
groups designated to received such benefit; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County has identified the following conditions for
the purpose of its election to pay EPMC pursuant to Government Coda Section 20691;
Butte County elects to pay EPMC according to the following list of groups and
percentage amounts:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Resolution supersedes and replaces
Resolution 11-082.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
elects to pay EPMC, as set forth above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, #hat this resolution is adopted on September 27, 2011
and effective October 1, 2011.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, of the Coun#y of Butte, State of
California, at a regular meeting of said Board, held on the 27 day of September 2011, by the
fallowing vote:
