RESOLUTION FOR EMPLOYER PAID MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS (EPMC)
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County has the authority to pay and report all or
a portion of the normal contributions required to be paid by a CaIPERS member pursuant to
Government Code Section 20691; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County has the authority to implement, reduce,
or eliminate the reporting under Government Code Section 24691; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County has a written labor policy or agreement or
has passed an impasse resolution which specifically provides far the normal member
contributions to be paid by the employer, or far the normal member contributions to be paid in
part by the employee and in part by the employer (contingent upon the MOU or impasse
resolution for the specific employee group), as designated below; and
WHEREAS, in order to implement Government Code. Section 20691 the Board of Supervisors
of Butte County must adapt a Resolution reflecting any payment of said EPMC far the employee
groups designated to received such benefit; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County has identified the following conditions far
the purpose of its election to pay EPMC pursuant to Government Code Section 20691;
Butte County elects to pay EPMC according to the following list of groups and
percentage amounts:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Resolution supersedes and replaces
Resolution 11-106.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
elects to pay EPMC, as set forth above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this resolution is adopted on October 11, 2011
and effective October 15, 2011.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, of the County of Butte, State of
California, at a regular meeting of said Board, held on the 11~' day of October 2011, by the
following vote:
