RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO
AGREEMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES, AGREEMENTS FOR
TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS, AND PERMITS TO ENTER AND CONSTRUCT IMPROVEMENTS FOR
OWNERS BENEFIT FOR THE FOOTHILL BOULEVARD BRIDGE PROJECT' ACROSS WYMAN RAVINE, STATE
BRIDGE NO. 12C-0341, FEDERAL BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT BRLS-5912[060)
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors have entered into a project agreement with
Caltrans and the Federal Highway Administration to participate in the Highway Bridge Program (HBP) for the
construction of the Foothill Boulevard Bridge across Wyman Ravine; and
WHEREAS, the project agreement requires that the County of Butte acquire all rights of way and
easements necessary to construct the project; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte must complete all right of way and easement acquisitions necessary to
deliver right of way certification to Caltrans.
NOW THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, in order to complete the delivery of the right of way certification to Caltrans, authorizes the
Director of Public Works to negotiate and sign the agreements for Acquisition of Real Property for Road
Purposes, Agreements for Temporary Construction Easements, and Permit to Enter and Construct
Improvements for Owners Benef t for the Foothill Boulevard Bridge Replacement across Wyman Ravine, State
Bridge No. 12C-0341, Federal Bridge Replacement Project BRLS-5912(060).
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this
13~' day of December, 2011, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Yamaguchi and Chair Lambert
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
