Resolution No. 11-135
UPON RETIREMENT FRDM THE BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORK5
WHEREAS, Tracy Henson, Bridge Maintenance Worker, Lead, for the Department of Public Works, announced
his retirement as of December 28, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Tracy began his career with the County of Butte in 1994, as a Road Maintenance Worker I, advancing
within the Department to become a Bridge Maintenance Worker, Lead, his present position, where he maintained the
County's roads and bridges for the safety of Butte County; and
WHEREAS, Tracy worked as a Road Maintenance Worker I, Road Maintenance Worker ll, Bridge Maintenance
Worker lll, Bridge Maintenance Worker, Senior and Bridge Maintenance Worker, Lead for many years; and
WHEREAS, Tracy has earned the respect of fellow employees, engineers, surveyors, contractors, and others
involved in Public Works activities in Butte County, and has diligently served the residents of the County of Butte #or
seventeen years, with distinction and leadership;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE5OLVED, that this Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the residents of the
County of Butte, wish to express to Tracy sincere appreciation for his many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding
service rendered to the residents of the County of Butte, and further wish him well on his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this 13f~ day of
December, 2011, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Yamaguchi and Chair Lambert
NOES: None
