AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 475, KNOWN AS
THE BUTTE COUNTY ZONING ENABLING ORDINANCE AND
RELATING TO REGULATIONS IN "A-2" DISTRICTS.
1' The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
2 of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance:NO. 475, as amended,
3 DOES ORDAIN as follows:
'4 SECTION 1.
5 Section 3 of Ordinance No. 475 of the County of Butte is
6 hereby amended by adding thereto a new section, to be numbered
7 and designated Section 3.4.
$ SECTION 3.4.
9. (a) LOT AREA OR BUILDING SITE: Minimum required area
10 of lot or building site shall be no less than eight
11 thousand one hundred twenty--five (8,125) square feet.
12 (b) LOT WIDTH: Minimum lot width shall not be less than
13 ;. sixty-five (65) feet.
14 (c) FRONT YARD: Minimum front yard shall be fifty (50)
15 feet from the centerline of the road, except where
16 the road is classified by the County as a Federal
17' Aid Secondary Road the minimum building setback
18 requirement shall be fifty--five (55) feet from the
19 centerline of said road.
20 (d) SIDE YARDS: Minimum fide yard shall not be less
21 than five (5) feet.
22 (e) REAR YARD: Minimum rear yard shall not be less than
23 five (5) feet.
24 SECTION 2.
2S In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning Enabling
26 Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding to Section 3
27 thereof this Ordinance in full.
S8 SECTION 3.
29 That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
30 after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of fiftee:
31 (15) days after its passage, it shall be published with the names
32 of the members voting for and against the same, in the Chico
1 E to rise-Re o d , a newspaper published in the County
2 of Butte, State of California.
3 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
4 County of Butte, State of California, on the 6th day of
5 Octgber 1970, by the following vote:

Chairman Dunaway
