AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, A1V "RT--1" (MINIMUM-DENSITX RESIDENTIAL
TRAILER) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE IVO. 475, OF
SAID COUNTY AS AP2SNDED.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, under and pursuant to Ordinance ivo. 475 of said County,
being tine Zoning Enabling Ordinance, as amended, DOES ORDAIN as

6 SECTION 1. The hereinbelow described area, situate in the
? County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
8: zoned an "RT-1" (Minimum-Density Residential-Trailer) District,
9 and such area sizall be subject to the restrictions and restricted
10 uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided, said area
Il being located in the unincorporated area of Butte County north of
12 Paradise, California, and particularly described as follows:
13 All that portion of the west half of the Southeast
quarter of Section 36, T23iV R3E, h1D8&M, lying east
14: of a P.I.D. easement and that portion of the east
half of the Southeast quarter of said Section 36,
15 lying west of the following described line; com-
mencing at the east quarter corner of said Section
16 36, T23PJ R3E; thence (V $9°20'20"W, 632.14 feet; to
the point of beginning; thence S11°02'30"W, 152.55
lq feet; thence S89°30'20"E, 353.0 feet; thence south
177 feet; thence east 25 feet; thence south 761.74
~g feet; thence west 30 feet; thence south 574 feet;
thence S45°23'36"W, 1470 feet; thence S27°36'E,

21 SECTION 2. The following regulations shall apply in an
22 "RT-1" (Minimum-Density Residential-Trailer) District:
23 2.1 USES PERMITTED:
24 a. Single-Family dwellings.
2g'; b. rdobile Homes to house one family, when such Mobile
26' Home is the only housing facility located on the
27' premises, provided the following conditipns are con-
28 formed to:
29 1. The floor area eaithin the Mobile Home shall not
30 be less than 500 square feat.
31 2. All sanitary facilities shall conform to State
32 Statutes and regulations and to local requirements
of tine Health Department; and

1 3. All electrical installations shall conform to
2 State Statutes and regulations.
3 c. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
4 d. household pets, but not including livestock, poultry
5 or poisonous reptiles.
6 2,2 LOT AREA REQUIRED:
7 Minimum lot area of a lot per dwelling unit or a Mobile
8 home unit shall be no less than eight thousand, one hundred and
9 twenty--five (8,125) square feet excepting where public sewage
10 disposal service is provided, a minimum of six thousand, five
Zl hundred {6,5001 square feet may be allowed for inside lots with a
12; minimum of seven thousand, five hundred {7500) square feet for
13, corner lots.
14 2.3 LOT ta7IDTIi REQUIRED:
15 B4inimum lot width shall not be less than sixty-five (65)
16 feet.
17 2.4 FRONT YARD REQUIRED:
lg Minimum front yard shall be fifty {50) feet from the center-
19 line of the road, except where the road. is classified by the County
20; as a Federal Aid Secondary Road the minimum building setback re-
21,quirement shall be fifty-five {55) feet from centerline of said
22 road.
23: 2.5 SIDE 'YARD REQUIREP~NT:
24' Minimum side yard shall not be less than five (5) feet.
2g 2.6 TFiE FOLLOIaING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERP4IT
26 IN EACh CASE:
27 a. Golf courses and country clubs.
2g b. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
2g firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools
30 and public utility buildings.
37. SECTION 3. A11 uses of land within the District not
32 specifically authorized and permitted in Section 2, are prohibited.

1 SECTION ~. In compliance with the provisions of said
2 Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding to Section
3 5 thereof this Ordinance in full.
4 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
5 ereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
6 Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of
7 the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after
8 its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning
9 Enabling Ordinance.
10 ~~ SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby de-
11 Glared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
12 days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of
13 fifteen (15) days after the date of its passage this Ordinance
14 shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board
15 of Supervisors voting for and against it in the Paradise Post
16 a newspaper published in the County
17 of Butte, State of California.
18 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
19 County of Butte, State of California on the 3.7thday of
20 November 1970, by the following vote:
