The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, AO ORDAIN as follows:
1. That Section 4-1a4 of the Butt e. County Code be
amended to read as follows:
Any person violating any provision of Section 4-1
through 4-1,3 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,
punishable by fine or fines of not less than $5.00
for the first offense occurring during any licensing
year; of not less than $10.00 for a second offense
during any licensing year; and of not less than
$15,00 for a third or subsequent offense occurring
in said licensing year.
2, That Section 4-4 of the Butte County Code be amended
to read as follows: '
(a) The fee for registration shall be three dollars.
(b) The fee for a kennel license shall be ten dollars.
(c) The penalty for late registration shall be seven
dollars.
3. That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration
of fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published
with the names of the members voting for and against the same,
once in a newspaper published in the county of Butte, State of
California.

1971, by the following vote:
