ORDINANCE NO. 1182 AN INTERIM ORDINANCE AMENDING COUNTY ORDINANCE 925, CONSOLIDATING "R-1" (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) 1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of 2 California under and pursuant to Ordinance No. X75, as amended, 3i and declaring an emergency, DOES ORDAIN as follows: 4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the 5 County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby 6 zoned as an "R-1" (Single-Family Residential) Distract, and such 7 area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and 8 regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned 9. being located in Paradise, California. 10 The-south 1980 ft. of the northwest quarter of Section 7, T22N R4E, A9DB&A1. 11 Also beginning at the center of Section 7, T22N R4E; 12 thence south along said section line 860 ft.; thence west 665 ft.; thence north 330 ft.; thence west 225 ft.; 13 thence north 335 ft.; thence west 330.52 ft.; thence north 170 ft.; thence east along the east-west lane 14 of said Section 7, to the point of beginning. 16 SECTION 2. The following regulations shall apply in an 16 "R-1" (Single-Family Residential) District: 17 2.1 USES PERMITTED lg a. Single-family dwellings, not including tents or 19 trailers. 20 b. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. 21 c. Household pets (but not including livestock, poultry 22 or poisonous reptiles.) 2g 2.2 LOT ,AREA: 24 a. Minimum lot width shall not be less than sixty--five (65) feet. '~ 2.~1 FRONT YARD: a. Minimum front yard shall be fifty {50) feet from the centerline of the road, except where the road is classified by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road the minimum building setback requirement shall be fifty-five (55) feet from the centerline of said road. 2.5 SIDE YARDS: a. Minimum side yard shall not be less than five (5) feet. 2.6 The following uses subject to securing a use permit in each case: a. Golf courses and country clubs. b. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, firehouses, hospitals, parks, playgrounds, schools and public utility buildings. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not speci ically authorized and permitted in Section 2 are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding th Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the -2- i ~, 1 Zoning Enabling Ordinance. Zn compliance with the provisions of 2 the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after 3 its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning ~ Enabling Ordinance. 5 SECTION 6, This emergency ordinance shall'--take effect im- 6 mediateiy upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen 7 (15) days after its passage shall be published once with the names g of all members voting for and against the same in the 9 Paradise Post a newspaper in general circulation in 10 the County of Butte, State of California. 11 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the 12 County of Butte, State of California, on the 13th day of 13 - J~ 1971, by the following vote: 14 lg AYES: Supervisors Gilman, Madigan, McKillop, and Chairman Reynolds 16 NOES: None ~7 ABSENT: Supervisor Maxon 18 J REYNO S, Chairman 19 rd of Supervisors, County of Butte State of California 20 ATTEST: CLARK A.
