AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF TIE C70UNTY OF
BUTTE AN ~''iR-~1t4~ (SINGLE-FAMILX RESIDENTIAL} DISTRICT,
1 PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE N0. 475, AS AMENDED

3 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Buttes State of
g California9 under and pursuant to Ordinance Noo 4758 as amended,
~ and declaring an emergency, DOES ORDAIN as follows:
6 SECTION to The hereinafter described area situate in the
7 County of Buttep State of California,, shall be and it is hereby
8 zoned as an "R»1F' (SinglewFamily Residential) District9 and such
9 area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and
10 regulations hereinafter specified and providedo Said area so
13. zoned being located in the unincorporated area of Butte County9
12' near Chico,9 California, more particularly described as follows:
13 Lot 1 through Lot 107 of Butte Creek Estates, per
map recorded in Map Book 34 on pages 349 35, 36
14 and 37 in the office of the Recorders County of
Butte9 State of California,

SECTION 20 The following regulations shall apply in an

"R»1" (Single~Family Residential) District:

ao Single family dwellings9 not including tents or

SECTION 5o fihis urgency ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen
(15) days after its passage shall be published once with the names
of all members voting for and against the same in the Chico
F:ntar~risa_'E7ec~rd , a newspaper in general circula»
Lion in the County of Butt e9 State of California, The facts
constituting the urgency on which this ordinance is based are:
1, The existing AM2 zone permits uses incompatible with
the recently developed single family dwelling nature of the subject
~areao
2, The planning commission will soon be considering a
petition requesting rezoning of the subject area to R-1,
3o This urgency ordinance is necessary to preserve the
public health, safety and welfare in the subject area until said
,rezoning to R-1 is decided,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Buttep State of California, on the 3rd day of Augusts
1971, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Gilman, Madigan, Maxon, McKillop,
and Chairman Reynolds
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
