A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING AND THE
EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO
FROM THE GENERAL, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND PLANNING AND TECHNICAL
ASSISTANCE ALLOCATION OF THE STATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
{CDBG) PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as follows:
SECTION 1:
The Butte County Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves an application for up to $850,000 for the
following activities:
General Administration: $61,250
Housing Rehabilitation for Single Family Homes in the unincorporated area of Butke County: $555,000
Micro-enterprise business assistance: $138,'70
Phase 1 County-wide Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan: $95,000
SECTION 2:
The County has determined that federal Citizen Participation requirements were rnet during the development of this
application.
SECTION 3:
If the application is approved, for Cash Match the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the use of
General Funds in the amount of $5,000 match for the Community Development Allocation Planning and Technical
Assistance grant.
SECTION 4:
The County hereby authorizes and directs the Chief Administrative Off cer, or designees, to sign this application
and act on the County's behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
SECTION S:
If the application is approved the Chief Administrative Officer, or designees, is authorized to enter into and sign the
grant agreement and any subsequent amendments with the State of California for the purposes of this grant.
SECTION 6:
If the application is approved Chief Administrative OfFcer, or designees, is authorized to sign Funds Requests and
other required reporting forms.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of Butte County this 27~' day of March, 2012,
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisor Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Yamaguchi and Chair Lambert
NOES: None
